Commutative Property Example
Math / / July 04, 2021
In mathematics, the commutative property tells us that the factors that make up the operation can change the order in which they occur, without altering the result.
This is a law or property that applies to addition and multiplication.
Examples of commutative property in addition:
2 + 3 = 3 + 2 = 5
1 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 3 = 3 + 4 + 7 + 1 + 2 = 7 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 17
87541 + 65487 + 32123 = 32123 + 65487 + 87541 = 185151
32 + 21 + 65 + 54 + 98 + 87 = 21 + 32 + 54 + 65 + 87 + 98 = 357
74 + 85 + 96 = 96 + 85 + 74 = 85 + 74 + 96 = 85 + 96 + 74 = 255
654 + 987 + 321 = 987 + 321 + 654 = 321 + 987 + 654 = 1962
123456 + 456456 = 456456 + 123456 = 579912
75 + 86 + 42 + 53 = 42 + 75 + 53 + 86 = 53 + 75 + 86 + 42 = 256
84 + 95 + 51 + 62 = 62 + 51 + 95 + 84 = 95 + 62 + 84 + 51 = 292
8594 + 5261 + 5260 = 5261 + 8594 + 5260 = 19115
Examples of commutative property in multiplication:
2 X 3 = 3 X 2 = 6
1 X 2 X 4 X 7 X 3 = 3 X 4 X 7 X 1 X 2 = 7 X 4 X 3 X 2 X 1 = 168
87541 X 65487 X 32123 = 32123 X 65487 X 87541 = 184154653052441
32 X 21 X 65 X 54 X 98 X 87 = 21 X 32 X 54 X 65 X 87 X 98 = 20110446720
74 X 85 X 96 = 96 X 85 X 74 = 85 X 74 X 96 = 85 X 96 X 74 = 603 840
654 X 987 X 321 = 987 X 321 X 654 = 321 X 987 X 654 = 207 204 858

75 X 86 X 42 X 53 = 42 X 75 X 53 X 86 = 53 X 75 X 86 X 42 = 14357700
84 X 95 X 51 X 62 = 62 X 51 X 95 X 84 = 95 X 62 X 84 X 51 = 25232760
8594 X 5261 X 5260 = 5261 X 8594 X 5260 = 237820558840
