The chronicle is a series of stories that can be written or spoken, they are mainly based on stories expressed chronologically.
Even speaking of chronology, and its reference to time, about the chronicle its origin is not known in a certain way, but it is can calculate that it has accompanied the human being since the origins of writing and perhaps before since the chronicles spoken.
Precisely the word chronicle derives from the Latin chronic which also derives from the Greek word chronicle, which is also based on chronological processes.

Features and main features of the chronicle:
Order of narration.- The narrative order of the chronicle is basically in the past, it is arranged chronologically, accommodating the data from the beginning to the culmination of the event.
In history the chronological chronicle is fully established, because otherwise it would not be understood and the thread of what was related would be lost.
The literary chronicle.- The literary chronicle is also based on the principle mentioned above but focuses exclusively on writing; thus most of the chronicles, both public and private, are written.
The Spoken Chronicle.- This has been given since ancient times, and was expressed by the so-called chroniclers, who spoke in public about the chronicles to all those who, due to various circumstances, could not read. In this segment there is also the informative chronicle that can be both written and spoken.
Official Chronicles.- The official chronicles are exactly the same as the simple or literary chronicle but whenever they are made they are public faith given by some authority or by a person qualified to do so, these chronicles include official statements and statements police.
Journalistic chronicles.- The journalistic chronicles are chronicles that are widely disseminated by print media, covering both books, magazines, newspapers, web pages and today on social networks.
