Constructive Paraphrase Example

The constructive paraphrase it differs from mechanical paraphrase, in that the statement is reformulated, but preserving the essence. Through it, the text partially or completely changes its form, but preserving the original idea or ideas of the original text. It could be said that most humans turn to this figure without realizing it, since commonly change the entire message received and transmit it by altering the form and only preserving the essence of the same.

Constructive paraphrase example: (original text first)

One day when Job's sons were eating and drinking wine at the older brother's house, a messenger came to tell Job:
“Your oxen were plowing, and your donkeys were grazing by their side, when suddenly the Sabeans fell on them and herded them. They put all of your servants by knife, and I could hardly escape to give you the bad news ”. He still had the words in his mouth when another servant arrived, and told him: “God's fire rushed from heaven, burned your sheep, your servants and it consumed them and I could hardly escape to tell you. Constructive Paraphrase:

One day one of Job's servants notified him of the death of his servants and the theft of his cattle; when he still had not finished speaking, another came telling him of a rain of fire that burned his servants and his his sheep, being interrupted by another servant who explained to him the theft of all his camels, and the death of his servants. Being interrupted at the same time by a last servant who brought him the news of the death of all his children due to the collapse of the roof of the house in which they were, caused by a hurricane. Job in dismay tore his clothes, shaved himself and exclaimed: I came out naked from my mother's womb, I will return naked to mother earth's womb.
