Sequential Texts Example

The texts that are used to describe a sequence of events or instructions are called sequential texts. This type of writing is widely used when you want to describe the succession of events, whether historical or narrative.
The sequential texts They are also widely used when you want to give instructions to follow as a manual to know the operation of machinery or equipment, or to write a cooking recipe.
The texts that describe the procedures manuals of the companies or institutions are also sequential as they indicate the steps to follow to carry out a job.
Example of Sequential Texts in a narrative:
I didn't know how to get to the city center, so I asked the police officer who I met on the corner.
-Excuse me official, how do I get to the city center? - I asked for.
-Take this street and go straight south, you will find a traffic light, after the traffic light count three streets and turn left; That is the Central Avenue, go straight along that avenue until you find the Banco de las Américas building, turn to your right and three streets later you will find the Central Plaza; there is the center of the city.
Example of Sequential Texts in a tutorial:
To put the batteries in the remote control follow the following sequence:
Remove the cover on the back of the remote control by pulling it back.
