Concept Map Example

A conceptual map It is a type of graphic scheme in which the concepts are expressed logically.

There are precedents such as the “Porfirio” tree, but the concept as such and its current use is the one created at “Cornell University, USA”, where it was developed in the 70s.

They can be done in different formats such as:

• Horizontal
• Bertica and
• Alternate

And these must have some essential points to be considered as concept maps:

• Concepts
• Proposition
• Hierarchies
• Levels

Concept map example:

1. Concept.- The concept focuses on the main idea, which is the main theme of the concept map. (MAKE CLOTHES)
2. Proposition.- The proposition is the secondary concept, where the breakdown of the subject begins. (SERVES FOR) and (IS CHARACTERIZED)
3. Hierarchies.- Hierarchies are the points of importance where the division of ideas is sustained or leveled. (They are the separation in "used for" and "It is characterized")
4. Levels.- These levels are presented on the conceptual map, and always go from the major premise to the minor one, decanting the information until the map is completed. (They are the ones that explain the map and go in descending order or from left to right)
