STUDIES: began his studies at the Torres García School. At the beginning of it he dedicated himself to painting on canvas but later he defined himself by the Baroque and Renaissance style. Most of his paintings were dedicated to the landscapes of his hometown. He achieved innumerable distinctions and awards around the world, where the First Prize at the Mexico Festival stands out. His most famous paintings are: La playa Ramírez (1955), El barca a la deriva (1959) and La paloma (1963).
