Sample Payment Promise Letter
Cards / / July 04, 2021
The promise to pay letter is a text or document by which a person agrees to settle a debt contracted and that, in addition to the amount to be paid, stipulates the name of the involved, the payment deadline and the possible sanctions, fines or legal actions that can be carried out in case the debtor does not comply with the agreed. This type of letter is very common among individuals, either as a result of a rent or purchase of some good or service, although it is also used at other levels.
A very important feature of this document is that it must be the result of the common agreement of the parties involved, as well as make its content very clear. Likewise, to have a real value, it is mandatory that it be personally signed. A example of promise to pay letter is the following:
Mr. José EcheverrÃa.
I hereby undertake to pay the corresponding amount for the concept of one month's rent. of the property located at Av. Las Flores # 39, Fraccionamiento Hacienda Nueva, C.P. 00659, Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico.
Said payment will be made on August 20, 2010. Otherwise, I accept the penalty or sanctions that were duly imposed on me at the time.
Nothing more for the moment.
