A letter of invitation to foreigner It is a document that is required in many countries as a compulsory procedure to enter a country.
In general terms, the document can be made in two ways:
1. Invitation letter addressed to the authority of the secretariat of foreign relations or the institution homologated to this secretariat, where the foreigner is invited to enter the country.
In the letter there are aspects that must be taken into consideration.
- Financial solvency of the interested party
- Creditworthiness of the person making the invitation.
- Express invitation to welcome the visitor
- Names and surnames of the participants
- Link between the applicant and the beneficiary
- Valid identification (preferably passport or identity card)

- Not having a criminal record or being free without serious penalties.
2. Simple and personal invitation letter made by an inhabitant of the country to which you are going to travel and that is sent to the interested party.

In Spain, the invitation letter is made through the Police Station of the place of residence.
In Mexico it is sent directly to the interested party.
