Simple Power of Attorney Example

The purpose of the power of attorney is to delegate some power or responsibility over something or circumstance. This is awarded in very select areas and specific circumstances. This document gives the person granted powers and powers in legal matters and this power may be general or limited.

There are two main cards:

1. Limited power of attorney, this grants the representative powers to act on behalf of the interested party in specific matters.
2. General power of attorney, delegates to the representative capacity for a wider variety of actions.

There are no exact models but these must have specific aspects such as:

1.- Name of the person who receives the power of attorney.
2.- Clarification of the powers granted, specifying what powers and how they are granted to that person.
3.- Express clarification limiting the time that the person will have the power to act on behalf of the interested party.
4.- The signature of the person granting the power of attorney.

Limitations of the power of attorney

1. This document does not empower the representative to make decisions over the grantor.

2.  It does not deprive the interested party of his faculties when making decisions.

The power of attorney loses its validity when the representative knows that the interested party has died or when the deadline previously marked in the document is met.
