A extension letter aims to request the extension of a deadline to carry out some activity. You can write an extension letter to request more time to turn in a project, a school assignment or to make a payment. As with all letters, you must include the date and place where it was issued, the person to whom it is addressed, the activity or event for which an extension of time is requested, the reason why this is done, and the signature of who makes this petition. Below are some examples of an extension letter.
