The worksheets they are a tool used by researchers to gather data. Information sources are recorded
In the worksheets After the sources have been registered, they are consulted in order to obtain information that is consistent with the working hypothesis and with the research scheme.
The registration of this information is done on 12.5 X 19 cm cards, called work sheets, which contain the ideas, opinions and events obtained from the sources consulted, or the researcher's judgments derived from that consultation.
The information that is recorded can be textual, in which case it is placed in quotation marks; or it can be a synthesis that the researcher elaborates.
There are some differences or classifications of the tokens:
- Textual files, In these fragments of the paragraphs are copied and the source data is included.
- Paraphrase sheet. It is the file in which the student or researcher gives his own explanation or concept of what he is reading or researching, and also carries the data of the source.
- Summary tab. In this the summarized data is written and the source is also included.
- Summary sheet. It is similar to the summary one, but the main ideas are taken and the data from the sources are included in the same way.
- Mixed tab. This file is made up of a mixture of a textual file and one of the following: "paraphrase sheet”, “Summary tab”, “summary sheet”; the first part is enclosed in quotation marks and the next part is in plain text and includes the data from the data source.
All these files handle the same format described above and only their purpose, use and circumstance change.
