The encyclopedia bibliographic card It is a bibliographic file that contains the essential data that are used to quickly locate the information sought in an encyclopedia.

Said card must have the following fundamental points.

• Name of the encyclopedia.
• Type of encyclopedia, (universal encyclopedia, thematic encyclopedia, encyclopedic dictionaries, etc.).
• Volume of the encyclopedia.
• In the case of encyclopedic dictionaries in several volumes, indicate the word with which it begins and the word with which it ends. For example: Car-Stratified)
• Authors.
• Editorial.
• Country of the edition.
• Year of printing.
• Edition.
• Total number of volumes.
• Number of pages.
• The file may or may not have a short summary, in the case of thematic encyclopedias.
• Decimal notation.
