The human being has the quality of producing a series of sounds, man-made sounds, we can separate them into two categories, which are:

Sounds through your mouth
Sounds through your body

Sounds produced by the mouth:

The sounds produced by the mouth produce the sounds used to achieve speech, these are called by some experts as phonic sounds or sounds produced by the human speech apparatus.

These can be sub-classified into five:

Alveolar Sounds
Bilabial sounds
Dental Sounds
Labiodental sounds
Palatal sounds
Velar sounds

These sounds are what make up phonetics, which is the branch that studies the sounds of spoken language.

1.- Bilabial sounds.- These are those that are produced by the lips, examples are the p, the b and the m.

2.- Labiodental sounds.- These are the sounds that are formed with the upper teeth and the lower lip, what happens with the letter F.

3.- Dental sounds.- These sounds are formed by placing the tip of the tongue on the back of the upper teeth, as with the d Y t.

4.- Alveolar sounds.- This is the sound that occurs in the front section of the tongue and the alveoli, which can be observed in the letters

5.- Palatal sounds.- These sounds are produced when the tongue is placed resting on the middle-anterior part of the palate, as we see in the letters c, Y (ye), ll (lla) and ñ.

6.- Velar Sounds.- These sounds are produced when the back of the tongue is placed on the palate, the sounds produced are the k and the g.
