Ideographic File Example

One of the most useful tools available to researchers are documents called files, which consist of some cardboard cards of different sizes, the most common being the one known as Bristol with measures of 7.5 cm x 12.7 cm. (3 '' x 5 '').
Among the different types of tokens that exist are the so-called ideographic cards o summary sheets that are a type of investigation sheets in which the researcher makes his own notes content of the source of his research, which can be a book, article, artistic or cinematographic work, and so on.
In the ideographic cards What is written by another person is not copied, but what the researcher has understood from the reading or observation of the research source is noted in his own words.
The parts of an ideographic token are:
Unique identifier of the token.
Qualification.
Type of the fountain, book, magazine, film, sculpture, etc.
Source data such as author, date of publication, magazine in which it was published, publisher, name of the sculptor.
Reference to other files on the same job.
Resume.
