The human being is characterized mainly by its diversity. In this sense, people express and apprehend things in very different ways. Therefore, we can say that one individual may have a very different experience from another, even if it is the same topic. Thus, the personality is a strictly human good that defines each person according to a series of specific characteristics. Of course, a similar personality can be repeated in different people.

The personality characteristics are:

1. Broadly speaking, personality is a psychological construction that refers to a set of characteristics or traits of a person, as well as an internal organization that determine the way of acting and behaving of a person according to a context or stimulus specific.
2. Personality remains more or less constant throughout a person's life, being a defining trait.
3. Personality, more than a value by itself, is defined and appreciated as such by the outside. This means that the definition of a certain type of personality is determined by a social construction.

4. Personality helps people to solve or have problems and to respond in a certain way according to a given moment.
5. Although there may be a genetic component in its transmission, everything seems to indicate that the personality is the a result of education and established cultural patterns that affect an individual during the early years of their life.
6. Personality determines most of the time the ways of acting and behaving of an individual, regardless of their natural conditioning or instincts. Therefore, personality appears to be a limiting cultural component.
7. According to specialists, certain personalities are more conducive to presenting emotional or psychological problems that make up pathologies such as psychosis. These types of personalities are very dangerous because they can affect other people.
