Hello Kitty is undoubtedly one of the characters most popular and loved children in the world, especially by girls, who are the ones who consume their products the most… It has been created by the Japanese company SANRIO Co., a company that she is dedicated to producing various products with the picture of the characters that she creates, such is the case of Hello Kitty, and she captures them in different proposals such as school supplies, clothing, stickers, stuffed animals, accessories of all kinds, among others.

Born in the seventies and became a worldwide success

It was created in the seventies by the Japanese designer Yuko Shimizu, then Yuko Yamaguchi takes over, who designs all kinds of products linked to the character to this day. Immediately after it was launched it became a worldwide bestseller.

In the nineties and when a drop in popularity was noticed, the company relaunched the Hello product Kitty with proposals such as bags and accessories for adults in order to capture the initial audience of Kitty. Also in this decade a cartoon series is created that of course has Hello Kitty as the protagonist

Physically, Kitty has the face of a cat, round, with two very haughty ears, whiskers that grow at the sides of her face and one of her ears has a distinctive bow, which marks that it belongs to the gender feminine, and depending on the product it can be of different colors and designs.

Controversy due to the fact that the creators of her claim that she is a girl and not a cat

Now, we must say that a purpose of Kitty's physiognomy, recently, a tremendous controversy has been generated since for most of the followers of Kitty, who grew up with her, Kitty is a cat, however, a few months ago the creator of her commented that Kitty is actually a little girl that he lives in London with his mother, father and a twin sister, but by no means is it a cat as everyone believed for decades. They even commented that Kitty has never been shown her on all fours as if he were a cat and her very human inclinations stand out, such as cooking, making origami and eating apple pie.
