Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia and has the powers of proclaiming laws, appointing judges and ministers, among others. After Queen Elizabeth II it would be the figure politics more important. He is directly elected by the Governor General in accordance with the provisions of the constitution. Usually leads the political party which has more deputies in the House of Representatives. This position is held today by Malcolm Turnbull.

The governor is usually the representative of the Queen.
Crucible of Races
History and identity Australians are made up of endless contributions from diverse origins. In the first place, the aborigines of the island (with particular and identifiable features) left their mark on a large number of traditions. At the same time, Australia, always maintained close contact with the different communities of South Asia. Finally, the presence of the whites (mainly the English) was what ended up converting, at the cost of many wars, blood and suffering, to Australia in what it is today: a westernized country whose primary language is English and which maintains traditions of western.
Administrative division, climate and beautiful landscapes that attract tourism
The island of Australia is divided into a few provinces or states: Queensland, New South Wales (where finds the city of Sydney), South Australia, the Northern Territories, Western Australia and Victoria (at southeast).
Australia, in turn, has a weather and one geography quite arid that are the cause, on numerous occasions, of deep and serious fires throughout the island. This makes their lands not very fertile and not very conducive to the development of extensive agriculture. However, the beauty of its beaches and the sky-blue sea make it an obligatory destination for tourism seeking paradisiacal landscapes.
