It is important to start by clarifying that the term post is used as a prefix to refer to the temporary idea of after. Thus, a later situation will be a situation that happens later. It can also refer to something behind, for example a posterior section of some part of the body. However, in current and common language, the term post has been borrowed from English and assimilated into many languages (including Spanish) to refer to a type of message or writing that is normally found in digital formats such as blogs. A post is a drafting accessible, relatively short and easy to understand.
The word post understood in this last sense is very common today due to the proliferation of digital spaces in which anyone (without the need to be professional or an expert in an area) can to write and upload a text or comment to the virtual platform that is Internet. This term probably stems from the already existing idea of post that was used before the proliferation of blogs to refer to the little messages or ideas that one could write on colored paper to remember things important. From here then we can understand that the idea of post as
expression of this type of space has the characteristics that it has.In this sense, we can describe a blog post as a simple, easy-to-understand writing that normally uses clear, informal and attractive language for those who read it. While it is not a detail or trait excluding, the posts found in blogs and these types of spaces are usually not too long since one of the characteristics of the same is to keep the attention of the public and express ideas, feelings or projects in a quick and concise. In addition, the posts can include other types of materials such as videos, music or images to graph or further accompany those ideas that are being expressed in writing. Usually, the posts that appear on a blog are signed, which allows us to know the author, recognize their type of writing and the topics it usually refers to.
