Our language, our everyday speech is flooded with acronyms that we use as one more term in our communications and expressions.
Acronyms are those words that originate from the initials, or more letters can be used, from those words that form the term in question, and that we use as one more to refer to various u questions organizations.
For example FPV is the acronym for Front for Victory, the political party official of the Argentinian republic and to which the current president belongs Cristina Kirchner; UNESCO is the acronym that names the United Nations Organization for the Education, Science and Culture; Mercosur is the acronym for Southern Common Market, as the subregional bloc made up of several Latin American nations is called.
It is also worth noting that there are many acronyms that are made up of the parts of two different words but that come together to name a new concept that includes them, for example docudrama, is the acronym for documentary filmdramatic.
As we can see, the acronym is a rather abbreviated way of naming issues, organizations, entities, political parties, among others. Even, many times, the acronym, due to the widespread and current use that it comes to have in the language everyday is much more recognized than the entire naming of something.
We can clearly appreciate this with UNESCO, because we all know what this is about. organization and what it does and we remember it more for its acronym than for its long original denomination.
Acronyms are almost always incorporated into a language like one more word and the gender that they will carry is the one that corresponds to the primordial element.
Meanwhile, the procedure through which it conforms to these is formally referred to as acronym.
The acronym is a sub-branch within the grammarthat takes care of the indicated need to develop acronyms.
