It is known as a pyramid that building with a three-dimensional triangular shape that has a quadrangular base and that may or may not be stepped as it rises in height. In specific terms, there is no doubt that the Egyptian pyramids are the most famous built by man and due to their monumentality, beauty and imposing picture, his presence is always magical and mysterious for researchers and fans.
The Egyptian pyramids are considered one of the works of infrastructure most perfect and incredible that human beings have ever been able to achieve. That said, it can be added that they are considered the only wonders of the ancient world that still stand due to the perfection of their construction, their magnificent size and their impressive bearing.
Pyramids were a type of monument characteristic of Egyptian society, and were built for purely religious purposes since it was believed that they were the Contact between mortals and gods. For this reason, the pyramids were made so that the pharaohs could be kept in their chambers inmates waiting for the doomsday in which they could be welcomed into the world of gods.
Although it is believed that its construction was carried out by slaves and consisted of a simple stack of blocks of stone, today both theories are in doubt. It is believed that many social sectors collaborated with his elaboration. When it comes to their infrastructure, it required much more than just stacking or they would not have survived otherwise.
The interiors of the pyramids are usually crossed by very narrow and small tunnels that lead to the main chamber, located in the center of the pyramid. On its walls are incredible hieroglyphs carved in the stone that, obviously, had a meaning possibly religious. It is believed that the pyramidal shape was used for this type of construction in Ancient Egypt since it allowed human beings to be closer and closer to the gods.
The pyramid has been characteristic of many cultures besides the Egyptian. Among the most recognized we must mention those of Giza, in Egypt, those of Teotihuacán, in Mexico, that of Chichen Itzá also in Mexico, the Inca pyramids of Peru and many others.
