The remote control is one of the most common and popular technological elements, it can possibly be found in every house with TV or some other type of technological element. The main function of the remote control is precisely to be used at distance or remotely to facilitate people's comfort. The remote control usually has different buttons that fulfill a particular function and that together allow you to enjoy the apparatus almost entirely remote technology.
The first remote controls were developed in the late 1800s and early 1900s in the United States. They worked from electromagnetic waves and, obviously, they had little or nothing to do with current remote controls since they were large robots that only carried out radio commands. Nowadays, remote controls are an essential part of many technological devices, mainly televisions, audio equipment, alarms, control equipment. reproduction video, etc. In addition, many cell phones have been developed to such an extent that they can be used as remote controls or remote controls for non-portable equipment such as those mentioned.
Normally, the functioning of the remote controls is done through the transmission infrared waves that communicate between the remote device and the non-portable device. This means that for the communication between one and the other can be given, it is necessary that they contact visually, so a remote control cannot be used from another room or from a point where it does not make contact with the appliance at control. The most important, perhaps, of the remote controls is that, from these infrared waves, none of these devices need cables or be connected by them to the central unit, which makes their driving something much more comfortable and accessible.
