The term pub crawl refers to a very widespread social phenomenon throughout the world. It is simply a matter of going to bars or going out for drinks. Thus, a group of friends go out to have fun and for this they take a tour of different entertainment venues and in each of them a stop is made to drink alcohol.

In some places in Spain, especially in the north, there is the custom of potear. Potting involves hanging out with friends and going from bar to bar to drink alcohol and have a tapa. This activity is very common during the weekend and if the weather is good the potting takes place outside the bar.
The word chiquiteo is also used. In this case, it is a word of Basque origin, as it comes from txikiteo. It should be noted that a little one is a small glass of wine or beer.
On the other hand, if the drinks are not consumed in a bar or pub but are taken in the street, this activity is known as a bottle.
In Mexico, going to have drinks from bar to bar is said "to go out for a blowout" or "to go out for a blowout." For Peruvians to go for drinks at night they say "parrendear". Chileans and / or Argentines say "a preview."
