In this sense, pedagogues and educators recommend the reading of these stories, since thus the kids they learn to distinguish right from wrong. For them, the hero is good and the witch or ghost is the representation of evil.
On the other hand, telling a horror story to a child can be an experience that allows him to overcome his own fears and fears.
