Traveling is the act of moving from one geographic space to another through the use of different elements that act as means of transport. A trip can be carried out individually or in a group, as it can also have different objectives, different duration and different style depending on each case. Although the activity of traveling is related to long-term trips distance, A traveler is also considered to be an individual who travels every day to go from his home to work or to any type of movement that involves moving from one place to another (provided this is done by means of transport).
The act of making a trip always has specific objectives that, as said before, can vary in each case. Typically, the most common reasons for travel are tourist reasons. They imply that an individual or a group of individuals resort to means of transport to move from their region of Common stay to different places in order to get to know them, visit them or simply change the scene to rest or learn new experiences.
Traveling can also be an act related to work activities and in this case the trip is generally less enjoyable as it involves certain responsibilities, tighter schedules, commitments and various tasks related to the ambit labor or professional. This group can also include the trips that are made daily to move from the home to the workplace, no matter how short they may be.
The means of transport are basically those that allow individuals to make different types of trips. It goes without saying that the use of certain types of transport will vary with the situation, generally resorting to the airplane for longer distances and to trains, buses, taxis and cars for medium to short distances that do not involve intercontinental movement.
The act of traveling always implies, regardless of the reasons for which you travel, a certain preparation. Although some trips are more relaxed than others, the traveler should always know what his destination will be, the documents he will need in that place, the luggage that he must have, the possible time of stay and the approximate economic budget with which he will be able mobilize.
