Jeans or jeans are a universal garment that has not stopped evolving since its origins. The word jean refers to a very popular type of fabric among Genoese merchants (jean made in Genoa was very similar to denim).
Not all jeans are the same
The types of jeans vary depending on their characteristics: shot, cut and fabric. For decades jeans were associated with youth and the clothing informal, but with the passage of time this garment adapted to everyone's needs.
The straight or regular type model is the most classic and adapts to all ages and situations. It is a straight trousers, with a high rise and that does not fit the ankle.
The skinny, also known as a skinny, is made from an elastic fabric and is worn very tight from the waist to the ankle. Slim is similar to skinny but slightly wider at the ankle. Both versions have the purpose to highlight the silhouette and both are a good option to hide wide hips. If the legs are excessively thin, it is better to choose a slim jean than a skinny one.
To the margin From the straight, slim or skinny style, in recent years new versions have appeared on the market, such as the bootcut, the boyfriend, the girlfriend, the push up or the super skinny. There are jeans for all tastes: aged, ripped, with a low or high waist, to wear every day or for special moments. One aspect to take into account is to adapt each type of jean to the personal needs of consumers and, logically, to their morphological characteristics (in this sense the shape of the rear of each one is the factor that determines the choice of one type or another of cowboy pants).
The first jeans appeared in the 19th century in California during the gold rush
The gold rush attracted thousands of adventurers and fortune seekers from around the world. In this historical context the businessman German Levi Strauss opened a establishment in San Francisco to meet the needs of miners. Treating his clients, he observed that the pants they were wearing were not appropriate for working in the mines and because of this he designed a resistant pants using the fabric of the tents where the miners.
To prevent the fabric from breaking easily, it incorporated copper rivets as a reinforcing element on the sides and in the pockets. As time went by, the fabric used was dyed blue and the brand's characteristic label was introduced.
Jeans-type pants have been adapted to different fashion trends: to the subculture greaser from the 1950s in the United States, movement hippie in the 60s, to the heavy metal 80s or western fashion.
