Indicative Mode Example
Spanish Classes / / July 04, 2021
The indicative mood is one of three verbal mode that exist in Spanish. Verbs conjugated in this mode indicate that the stated action is real information, that is, they are actions that are carried out or experienced and can be verified.
For example:
- "All of the food was delicious ”: the verb to be It is conjugated in the indicative and the action is expressed as something real that has happened in the past.
- "The guards they will review to all who enter the building ”: the verb they will review It is conjugated in an indicative mood: it is assumed that the action will be carried out in the future.
In the indicative mood sentences, then, the intention of the issuer is to report something that he considers to be true or real. In addition to the indicative mood, there are also two other verb modes: the Subjunctive mode Y imperative mode, which indicate other intentions of the issuer (express information that is not real and indicate an order or mandate).
