The concept of absolute zero does not refer to the conventional zero degrees of the scale celsius, but is related to an extreme measure of cold. More specifically, the absolute zero is, according to some scientists, the tendency of the universe towards the definitive freeze.
From the point of view of physical, the idea of absolute zero arose in the 19th century, when the absolute scale of temperature and it was concluded that nothing can be colder than absolute zero, that is, the state in which the atoms stop producing Energy.
The fundamental idea of the concept
Those who study the universe remember that all the heat and energy that were present at the beginning of time (the well-known Bing Bang) slowly and gradually fades away. Consequently, if the heat is reduced to a certain velocity This means that there will come a time when there will be no heat or energy, but a total cooling of the universe will be imposed. This gradual but constant trend towards freezing is called absolute zero. In other words, the absolute zero represents the possible end of everything that exists in the universe.
The shortage of energy that is gradually produced throughout the universe is an inexorable process and, therefore, at some point there will be no energy. Thus, absolute zero is the same as the lack of energy that is expected to occur in the very distant future and that it is not easy to calculate when.
The consequences of absolute zero and the end of the universe
According to experts in this phenomenon, when absolute zero occurs, the suns will be consumed and the planets will be completely destroyed. In this way, there will be no chemical reactions or biological reactions and life as we understand it will cease to exist.
Scholars of the universe argue that the idea of absolute zero could be compared to a watch that no longer has a winding and stops working. On the other hand, absolute zero equals nothing, a concept of difficult understanding for the mind human.
Think in a universe with nothing is the same as imagining the totality of reality without stars, without black holes or without white dwarfs. In that great nothing there will be no neutrons or protons, just darkness and cold.
The idea of absolute zero reminds us of some mythological or religious stories, that is, the end of time or the destruction of humanity by some catastrophe
Given the trend of absolute zero (which implies the end of the universe) some scientists argue that it is not so obvious that the universe is going to disappear, since the existence of dark energy shows that the universe is permanently expanding.
