The term pore is the one used to designate all the small voids of air that can be found on a surface. These air voids can take concrete shape and transform an otherwise smooth surface into a porous surface. The presence of pores in any type of surface means that it is a more delicate surface since air can pass through it and therefore it is not made entirely of matter.
Pores can be found on a wide variety of surfaces and elements. Pores are present on the skin of all mammals and animals as well as on the surface of plants. This is so since from them living beings can complement the breathing They perform naturally through the central respiratory system. In this way, when the skin or the external surface is altered by some type of infection, burn or damage, it can become danger the Health because the respiratory process is being limited.
The pores give the condition of porosity to some element or surface and when we talk about porosity, we can find different
levels or degrees of it. In this sense, many objects or materials have a high porosity, that is, a important number of pores on its surface, while others are more closed and allow less air to pass through. In the field of buildingFor example, taking these elements into account is essential since elements with higher porosity are more prone to damage or the presence of moisture than materials that are not. At the same time, they are lighter and can be especially useful for some specific functions where the hardness or stiffness is not so necessary. Topics in Poro
