Normally, a painting is understood to be a piece of pictorial art that can be of different dimensions but that, unlike frescoes or of the murals, it is delimited by a frame or by the end of the support surface (which is in most cases a portion of cloth or paper). The painting can be made for different purposes but, nevertheless, the decorative objective is the most common since that has to do with the creation of a work of art to be admired from certain points of a bedroom.
The painting as a decorative element is undoubtedly one of the most basic and recurring objects when completing the design stylistic of a room, home or space. In technical terms, the painting is composed of a surface on which the pictorial design is executed or graphic, as well as by a frame that delimits it and, finally, by other accessory elements that are related to the arrangement that such object will have on the walls of a room or quarter.
If we analyze the painting as an element
artistic, its existence occurs mainly after the Middle Ages and as the Renaissance, at which time hundreds of patron they commissioned Florentine and Italian artists for particular works of art. Thus, the painting as decoration of churches or institutions public ceased to be essential and art became an element of good economic passing. Since then, many of the most famous artistic works in history have acquired the Format frame or stand separated from the wall.When a pictorial work is done in a painting, the artist must know how to handle the given space above all and make his painting proportionally to it. The arrangement of the elements of the work, the use of limits and the appropriate painting techniques will also be related to the specific style of the work.
