Management can be understood in two basic and central ways: as one of the parts or sections of a company, institution or organization, or as the activity of managing and carrying out the work of organization and planning in any type of space (although it is mainly used for the professional field). Along with other terms, the word management is today closely linked to the workplace and business as it specifically relates to with the possession of attitudes and capacities that aim to obtain appropriate results for the operation of an institution or organization.
As discussed here, the term management has two main uses. When talking about management as a section or department of a company (it can also be called management), reference is being made to the activity of managing or putting into practice all kinds of techniques and methods that can organize the operation of an institution. Normally, the management is in charge of coordinating the different sections that are in charge, so that there can be a dynamic and a
communication appropriate between them. Many times, the common themes of a management have to do with the design and delegation of projects, work in the area of human Resources, the coordination of finances, the selection and application of working methods, the maintenance of a good leadership, etc.On the other hand, the term management is applied to describe precisely this type of activity rather than to refer to a section of the company. To get to occupy a position of manager or as a general manager, a person must have certain skills that can be adapted to a greater or lesser extent to each particular situation, but which are generally quite similar. Among them, we find a good appearance, respectful treatment towards colleagues, a attitude of leadership and guidance, authority and seriousness, among others. All these characteristics tend to facilitate the generation of suitable workspaces in which managers can find better results for their requests and suggestions.
