The term twitter admits several uses depending on the context in which it is used ...

In its most general and wide use, twitter refers to the vibration of the voice in the throat.

In the field ofmusic, to the broken voice that occurs in the interpreter of a song is called a twitter.

On the other hand, sing of the birds, it is also popularly known as twitter. The twitter morning of the nightingales is really music to my ears.

And in regards to the communication human, chirping is called imperfect joints of the kids when expressing themselves in the first months of life; when the individual is in the stage pre linguistics, that is, he has not yet learned to speak, one step before doing so is the emission of very particular sounds, that is, twittering is considered the prelude to speech.

Towards the end of the third month of life, a very characteristic reaction arises in the child and of great importance for its development, which is called complex of animation; it is a generalized motor reaction, which will be accompanied by the emission of sounds. When the adult, the parent, the

mother, places the child on his back and close to her face and also speaks to her and smiles at her, it will provoke in the child the so-called twittering; the gurgles are the direct result of stimulation and are considered the first step to learn to speak.
