Scientific Paragraph Example

A paragraph is the structural unit of a text since it develops a secondary idea that supports the main idea.

Paragraphs can be classified into different types depending on their narrative technique, their theme and the logic of thought they have.

Among the different types is the scientific paragraph characterized by having special procedures in the selection, organization and use of the morphological, lexical, syntactic and textual units that allow the optimal transmission of the information.

Scientific paragraph example:

“A black hole is a celestial body with such a strong gravitational field that not even electromagnetic radiation can escape its proximity. A field of these characteristics can correspond to a high-density body with a relatively small mass like that of the Sun, or less than it is condensed into a much smaller volume or to a low-density body with a very large mass, such as a collection of millions of stars in the center of a galaxy. Black holes are singularities that for traditional physical and mathematical calculations do not have a predictable behavior, only the theory of relativity resembles that behaviour. There may be more black holes than visible stars in our universe. Black holes could be formed by irregularities in the expansion of our universe or by the gravitational collapse of a star. Due to the fascinating properties of black holes, many theories and speculations have been created about the possibility of traveling in time and space to another universe (a region of space-time different from ours) to through them. The mystery they contain and their characteristics make them attractive and intriguing for many people, they are even a source of discussion among scientists ”.
