(1 Title) A lucky day
(2. Introduction) Friday night, while I was quietly listening to my favorite jazz program, there was a knock on the door of my room, it was my mother who told me that she had a visitor.
It seemed simple to me, believing that she was one of my friends who wanted some of my last minute notes.
(3 Body) I told my mother that I was taking care of them and I got up to go out, I look out the window of my room and I see that They are not my friends, Katy was the girl I liked the most at school, she came alone and wearing clothes, not her. school.
I think this was the fastest time in my life in my life as I washed and dressed in less than five minutes.
In the end I went out and met her and inside I thought –Surely she will come for my notes–.
- Hi how are you Katy
- Hi Francisco, how are you? I came with one of my friends to see if you wanted to come to my house, because one of my brothers is getting married and I have no one to go with.
`` Sure, I can go, but I don't see any of your friends.
- He is parking the car, there is no space around here.
-- It's okay; So we waited for her to stop by for a drink, 'Inside her I was more nervous than I expected, and she answered yes.
After a few moments, Ximena arrived, the girl who most hangs out with her.
- Hi Francisco, how are you? We come to see if you will accompany us to Javier's party, Katia's brother.
"Sure," I answered immediately, "I'm sure I'll go with you."
We went into the living room and I offered them a seat and something to drink; I went to the kitchen and looked in the refrigerator and there was nothing, everything was cooked and the pantry was brought by my brother from the shopping center and he had not arrived.
I began to despair when, luckily for me, my sister Carola, who is an expert in the kitchen, came in. I briefly explained my problem to her.
She quickly made a paste and cased some pieces of fish that she took from a can, and in the meantime I prepared some soft drinks.
In the end, I brought the fish and soft drinks to the table in the living room.
We entered into conversation and she explained to me that she has no one to go to her brother's wedding with, and she thought of me, because we have known each other for a long time and we get along well.
I felt at that moment like a child with a new toy and I felt flattered and happy.
We kept talking for a while; the fish and soft drinks ran out and when we realized it was six in the afternoon, they had to go, because we must be all early in school and the final exams of the last semester of high school were coming and we had to study.
They went out and immediately I went out to buy clothes for the occasion, my brother arrived with the groceries and I spoke to Jesus, my best friend and I told him that we had to go shopping.
We took the car and in the mall we ran into Katy and her friend, who were shopping very excited clothes, and effusively Katy told her friend that she did agree to go with her, and she did not expect her to tell her Yes.
(4 Conclusion) I was silent and since they had not seen us and Jesus was distracted, we went to the other side of the store and I bought a good suit, a shirt and some fine shoes.
We went to her party on Saturday and we had a great evening, especially when I discovered that her friend Ximena was accompanied by my friend Jesus and after leaving my house they went to hers to invite him.
Now that I think about it, aren't we men who should invite women?
