The term simplicity is used to refer to a condition, quality or a mode of behavior that is interested in simple things and sensations rather than in the complexities or great anguish that life proposes to us. Simplicity can be understood as a quality of a person as well as the quality of a specific object or element. At the same time, we can point out that in some particular cases the notion of simplicity may have a negative or pejorative meaning if it refers to the lack of interests greater or more complex.
Simplicity has a lot to do watch with the search of the most natural and purest elements in all things, in all people and situations. Thus, a simple person is likely to be interested in the beauty of nature rather than the luxuries of modern life. The simplicity goes through conforming to what one observes around and being happy with it. Obviously, reaching this level of behavior or feeling implies being very happy with oneself and with the environment
that surrounds you so that daily worries and socially imposed needs do not interrupt the tranquility of living. Today, this kind of attitude towards life is not very common due to the stress and fast life that most of the population.Simplicity, as said before, can also have a negative side in some cases and this has to do with the use of the term as something pejorative. So can a person show traits of excessive simplicity when he does not pretend too much from life and, therefore, has no expectations or dreams or great fantasies to fulfill throughout his life. Although a simple person can always be satisfied with little, at the same time we could say that he is a person who does not have ambitions and that then he does not allow himself grow up or discover new sensations.
