The fjord is a concept that is used in a way excluding at the request of the geography, since with him a quite common type of landform on our planet.
The fjord is basically a valley that is made up of glaciers and that submerged in the water and then became a fairly tight and deep gulf. In other words, the fjord is a sunken valley as a result of the action of glaciers.
