The concept that concerns us in this review is widely used in the field of electronics since in this way the system specially designed to provide you with electric power to various electronic equipment that we usually have both at home and at work, such as: television, computer, printer, audio equipment, router.
It is worth mentioning that ALSO this system may appear called in our language as source of feeding or source of Energy.
The alternating current or electric current is the way in which electricity enters our home or any other space, such as the office, a sanatorium, among others, while the function of the power source is to turn it into a DC which will be in charge of supplying energy to the aforementioned equipment. The unique characteristic of direct current is that the electric charge it flows in the same direction, something that does not happen in alternating current.
Then, the power source transforms that alternating current provided by the electrical network into a continuous one. Meanwhile, in its design it has different elements that achieve this effect and also deal with its regulation and adaptation to the needs of the equipment present in the home.
One of the main characteristics of the design of these sources is the presence of a fan on the back whose mission is that the source does not overheat with continuous use. It is advisable that the fountain is always kept clean of dust and the aforementioned fan free of obstructions, otherwise there is a risk that it will overheat and break. Any failure in it can cause some damage to the equipment.
There are two types of these sources, the linear ones , which are owners of a simple design but their main disadvantage is that in terms of regulating the voltage that arrives they are not so competent. And on the other hand switched sourcesThey differ from the previous ones in that they are smaller, more complex in design, much more competent but also more prone to breakdown.
