The term effective has three different meanings. It is the quality by which someone or something acts effectively, it is the number of soldiers that make up a force military and, finally, it is a way of referring to money.
The effective
We say that someone is effective when he meets the objectives that he has set. Let's think of a center forward, who has a position in the field oriented to score goals. We will say that it is effective if you score goals regularly and you can even talk about your effectiveness in a general sense (for example, calculating the average of goals per game). Organizational objects or systems can be equally effective, since they are useful, practical or accurate, that is, they satisfactorily meet expectations.
Military personnel
The strength and capacity of an army can be measured and assessed objectively. One way to do this is by counting the number of soldiers in a Unit (for example, a battalion, a brigade, or a regiment). This type of unit is called effective. Thus, in the
language military it is said that an army has 10,000 troops in its ranks or in the ground army or in any other organizational structure. In the realm of money
The fundamental concept of money is, in principle, simple, but we must not forget that money as an instrument has many facets and edges, as it serves to buy things, to save, to speculate, to buy someone's will and for many things more. To the margin of its purpose, money as a unit of value can be presented in different forms: in check, plastic money or cash, also known as liquidity.
The idea of cash is present in very different contexts: 1) when we are going to pay at the cash desk of a establishment the person who attends asks us if we are going to pay by card or in cash, 2) when we talk about money "hard and fast" we refer to the money available at a given time and 3) when it is perform purchases Minors, it is not usual to do it by card or check, but it is necessary to pay with pocket money (another way of referring to cash).
The use conventional of cash has changed in recent years. Not only are many card payment operations carried out, but also via mobile. In this sense, there are those who consider that in the not too distant future, cash may disappear.
