A burofax is a service provided by national postal entities in which through a document a sender communicates with a recipient in an official way for some purpose.
Normally, the burofax document is used in those cases in which it is necessary to record a matter of special importance in writing. The term burofax is used to refer to both the postal service that facilitates the communication as to the document that is issued.
A reliable test to guarantee effective communication
It is a safe service and is normally used as a urgency so that the document reaches the recipient as soon as possible. At the same time, the document is a reliable proof that indicates that the recipient has received the message.
It should be noted that the acknowledgment of receipt it is only obtained when the recipient has signed the sender's statement. With this procedure, both parties, sender and recipient, have a useful piece of evidence that can be used in a hypothetical trial in the future.
In the burofax service, the postal entity contacts the recipient of the communication and he / she has the option of signing the document
However, the recipient may refuse to sign it or may not be at his address at that time. If any of this occurs, from a legal point of view it is considered to have the same legal effects as if the recipient had signed the burofax.
In every burofax it is necessary to specify with clarity who is it addressed to, who is sending it and what is the contents of the message. In this sense, what is requested or claimed must be specified in detail.
A practical example
An owner of a premises does not receive the corresponding rent payment from a tenant. In this case, the landlord can make a claim on the amount of the debt to the debtor tenant. For this claim to be effective it has to be reliable and for this the burofax route can be used.
In the content of the burofax it is necessary to specify the exact amount of the debt and, at the same time, decide a specific date on which the claim would end. Once the date of the claim has passed, the sender can initiate a judicial process if the debtor does not comply with his obligations. On synthesisIn this example, the processing and content of the burofax is a procedure for an out-of-court claim.
