Irregular Verbs Example
Spanish Classes / / July 04, 2021
In Spanish, irregular verbs are those that when conjugated alter their lexeme, the grameme, or both parts at the same time, omitting the natural modification that would correspond to them according to the mode and the weather. That is, they are not conjugated following the rules. It is very common to hear young children conjugate wrong. For example: If the verb to think were regular, we would say "I think", but we say "I think". Which does not happen with regular verbs like love, we say "I love" and not "I amio".
If the verb to walk were regular, it would have to say:
- walk
- and-é, but it is said i walked
In the case of the verb to do, it would be said:
- make
- hac-í, but the correct form is I did
