The staircase is the structure that has as its main objective communicate two different spaces that have been separated by a distance determined. This structure is a building that advances diagonally in that distance from the superposition of steps or rungs that limit effort or difficulty of access to a minimum. There are two basic forms of stairs: on the one hand we have mobile stairs, usually folding, while on the other also there are the fixed stairs, of greater size, length and height, specially designed to permanently communicate two rooms different.
The staircase is undoubtedly one of the most basic constructions of the architecture. From the presence of it (in either of the two forms mentioned), man can access more complex dwellings or spaces that overlap levels and that they then become richer in terms of interest. The steps are, obviously, the most important elements of a ladder, since it is on them where we support our feet to move upwards. These steps can vary in terms of thickness, width,
material, surface area and distance between one and the other. In the case of fixed stairs, we must also mention other elements such as sections (which separate one step from another), landings (those spaces that seek to allow a minimum break being horizontal) and the railings (by which the individual can hold on in order to have a firmer and safer rise or fall).
Among the fixed stairs, the spiral staircase, the imperial staircase and the stairways are clearly the most outstanding examples not only for their shape but for their beauty and style. Each of these stairs can be used in a better way in specific situations, all three being equally impressive and elegant. Today, the design Today has developed various types of internal stairs to a home: stairs in which each step is separated from the next, ultra-narrow stairs, stairs of informal design, etc.
