Known as one of the wonders of the Humanity, Teotihuacán is a set of archaeological ruins that have been attributed to the Mayans and that is located in the current territory from Mexico. Due to its spectacular nature, the complexity of its constructions and the wonderful significance that this site carries, it has been named as Site Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1987.
Teotihuacán is considered to have been a citadel or urban center that was built prior to the arrival of the Spanish to America by civilization Maya. It has been estimated that a good date to date this urban complex would be around 200 BC, which makes it one of the oldest urban creations in America. Teotihuacán means in the original language of the Mayans 'the place of the gods' and that is why it also It is considered that this place may have been created for religious and ceremonial purposes in addition to housing.
Teotihuacán is a large space surrounded by nature and built mostly in stone.
