The connector "above”Belongs to the group of spatial connectors. It is used to indicate that what is being talked about is in a superior position with respect to another. For example: The dove just passed above of my head.
This connector is usually followed by a complement headed by the preposition from, which indicates the place or position that is taken as a reference.
The connectors are words or expressions that allow us to indicate a relationship between two sentences or statements. The use of connectors favors the reading and comprehension of texts, since they provide coherence and cohesion.
