Importance of Applications

With the popularization of computers, which went from being machines occupying entire rooms to work and entertainment tools desktop staff, it was necessary to introduce applications, the means to squeeze the functional capabilities of the PC (staff computer).

Applications have propelled the use of computers and mobile devices such as tablets and Smartphones. They are tools that make possible the interaction of the machine with the individual, giving meaning to the existence of a

OS understandable and manageable by the general public: the applications transform the code into visual and intuitive elements for the development of a certain activity. Without the applications you could not surf the Internet, edit an image with Photoshop, burn a CD with Nero, listen to music with iTunes, sync content with a mobile device or simply play.

Applications are the “vehicular language” to simplify the use of highly technological products which, under their casings, hide complex circuitry interspersed with cables and components electronics. And although in appearance, the simple fact of entering a text or drawing a line does not seem like a big deal, behind it there is a whole work of programming in which an individual has had to enter code for the operating system to interpret an action based on numbers, text, and characters. The applications may have a simple appearance, but behind them there is an invisible trail of processes incomprehensible to most.

When starting a machine, the operating system that governs it is just the path to travel, applications being the vehicle to get on to enjoy that path. Booting up a Windows computer or Android phone is just the first phase. From that moment on, the applications immediately intervene to carry out an activity that we want to undertake: edit an image, write a text, or search for information on the Internet.

What would a PC or a smartphone be without the existence of applications? The vast majority of us would not know or would not see the point of using such a complex tool from the point of view of electronics. We live in an era where we are used to clicking on an icon to start an activity, especially in our interaction with current mobile phones, which are already replacing computers in a large number of activities.

Apps are the tools that power our creativityThey lighten our work, allow us to communicate with our environment, provide entertainment, save our experiences or simplify access to information.

The applications represent the visual and simplified translation of an incomprehensible and mathematical code so that an ordinary individual can carry out an activity and obtain a benefit from it.
