Example of a complaint letter addressed to a newspaper:
Mr. Editor:
I address my letter to denounce the insensitivity of the municipal authority in charge of public lighting, since in the Calle Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, between Avenidas Villada and Instituto Literario, here in Toluca, public lighting does not works.
Despite the many neighborhood requests addressed to the authority for four months, they have ignored us, and it has been a month that they have appeared several dismantled vehicles, caused among the neighbors fear of going out at night, in addition to the fact that many of us arrived at our homes when it was already Dark.
We trust that by this means the public works authorities will listen to us and fix the lighting, for which the residents of Calle Sor Juana will be very grateful.
Juan Soria
Neighborhood representative
