The Mongol Empire took place between the 11th and 14th centuries and during this period vast territories were occupied, specifically from East Asia to central Europe. The system government They imposed was a monarchy in which the tribal chief was known as Great Khan. The first of them was Genghis Khan and the last Kublai Khan (the latter was the first Leader Mongol who converted to Buddhism).

The Mongols had the custom of abducting women because inbreeding was prohibited between them. They prepared the battles strategically and studying the new territories in depth. In order to keep their vast domains together, they organized a very sophisticated administrative system for the time (censuses, postal service, etc.).
The Mongol empire was known in the West thanks to the stories of Marco Polo. In the book of wonders "Marco Polo recounted his personal relationships with the last Great Khan, as well as his experiences as a traveler and businessman.
