The font is one of the most used elements in architecture in order to decor of different urban spaces, both public and private. The source is characterized by containing a certain amount of Water and keep it on movement in order to generate a unique and captivating visual effect. The fountains can be found in squares, shopping centers, gardens, parks and numerous spaces.
Fountains have always been one of the inventions of engineering more interesting to architecturally beautify a certain space. They were used throughout history, becoming in many cases highly complex and fabulous. Traditionally, fountains were built in stone and could include several floors as well as beautiful sculptures that completed the scene. The water movement mechanism in such cases was mechanical.
Nowadays, fonts have varied and evolved a lot, thus being able to find incredible designs that little or nothing resemble traditional fonts. Thus, many sources include a great variety of moving waterways and their surfaces can be totally variable from one case to another. They can also be designed to include plays of lights, sounds and thus transform into a truly unique and captivating show. These modern sources are generally managed by complex technological systems that work automatically.
Sources can be features both public spaces and private spaces. In this sense, it is common to find different models of fountains in gardens, parks and private open spaces since they always give a certain dynamism to the environment and they are also an attraction for birds and other small creatures.
Among the most famous and recognized fountains in the world we can mention that of Trevi, in Rome, those of the Palace of Versailles, near Paris, those of Central Park, in New York, that of Lola Mora, in Buenos Aires, and numerous other examples that are undoubtedly fabulous and beautiful.
