The adverbial subordinate clauses are subordinate clauses that they fulfill a similar function to that of an adverb within a sentence. That is, like adverbs, these subordinate clauses complement the information or modify what is expressed in the predicate of the main clause; They add some kind of information that the speaker considers relevant to complete the idea or action of the verb.
They are known as subordinate clauses because they depend on another clause: depend on a topic sentence. Subordinate clauses are secondary clauses that are not independent and that by themselves do not express a complete sense.

- She cooks how they taught her to do it as a child.
4. Causal adverbial subordinate clauses. These sentences express the motive or cause of what is expressed in the main sentence. They are introduced through causal links, such as causal conjunctions or phrases. Examples:
- She left the party because she didn't like the man she had.
- They hired her for the job since she has many skills and abilities.
5. Concessive adverbial subordinate clauses. These sentences express something that opposes or is an obstacle to what is expressed in the main sentence, but that does not prevent it from being fulfilled. They are introduced by means of concessive links, such as concessive conjunctions or phrases. Examples:
- Although there was not enough room for everyone, the hosts got more chairs.

6. Conditional adverbial subordinate clauses. These sentences express a condition of what is expressed in the main sentence; that is, they express under what conditions what is expressed in the main sentence can be fulfilled. They are introduced through conditional links. Examples:
