The eldest of the male children of a family. In antiquity and until not long ago they were not created, the primogeniture was related to issues such as privileges, inheritances and obligations held by the first child of a partnerrespect of those of his younger siblings, although of course, as we said, over time, this issue became more and more relativized and today there is almost no abysmal difference between the children of a family.
Anyway and beyond overcoming of this type of issues, what the firstborn have not lost is the presence of features that the studies reveal own and unique of the older children. Among the most important we find that generally they are more withdrawn, less social and more responsible than their younger siblings, they tend to adopt and have the attitude of a father for these.
Another salient issue of the firstborn and also of extreme care is that they usually face tremendous jealousyproduct of the coming of a second brother and much more if these were the only ones for a long period.
